Monash University has partnered with Guroo Learning since 2024 to transform their professional development offerings, migrating from a legacy LMS to Academy – a purpose-built platform designed for scalable short course delivery. They needed a solution that could support both accredited and non-accredited courses while delivering a better learner experience and expanding their enterprise education reach.
The transition required migrating courses from outdated legacy technology, streamlining delivery across multiple faculties, and building a scalable platform capable of serving both internal staff and external learners across industries.
The solution
Academy gave Monash a single, end-to-end platform that replaced a fragmented set of tools and streamlined their entire professional development operation. The built-in course catalogue and payment gateway removed the need for separate enrolment and payment systems, while flexible credentialing meant accredited courses, non-accredited programs, and microcredentials could all be managed in one place.
